am I being insane are there no real cotton high waisted knickers anywhere in the UK? it's all under bump stuff which is actually standard-sized or lycra. I am shocked that M&S don't have anything. my bump popped and I have gone a size up but don't think this is a solution. .. help

All cotton ones won't be much help with the jelly belly, the best ones I got (3 years ago) were 80% cotton and lycra, were from a local store selling a bit of anything really , found them in the granny section. But I do remember buying all cotton high waist from m&s last year I think it was a multi pack

Look at John Lewis - they have "full briefs"🤣 which are very high waisted - I got loads for immediately after my c section - didn't want anything rubbing on the scar and they are really great.

Sainsbury full briefs - I wore these whilst pregnant with twins and still wearing them now 🤣

Definitely supermarket full briefs, I used them after DS was born too and they were great.

It was a few years ago now but I wore the big pants from Noppies while pregnant (and for quite a while afterwards, they were so comfy 😳)

Supermarket or Amazon's Iris and Lilly high waisted pants - wore these in late pregnancy and still wear them now 9 months down the line Grin

I wore Primark seamless short style pants in a bigger size they're really stretchy and come up high, they might look like they don't on the hanger but trust me they do. I still wear them in my normal size when I'm feeling bloated

Seconding (thirding?) supermarket full briefs. I was a 14 pre pregnancy and sized up to a 20 for the last few months. It was a sad day when I binned them.. when DS2 was 9 months old

I found this! There's a few on amazon that are specific maternity with faces on, but if you want plain you need the none maternity full briefs in a few sizes up. I still wear my normal ones too just under the bump

Do you want maternity knickers or are these for post-partum?

Maternity knickers are different from the big pants people wear post partum. H&m do maternity knickers as do Asda.

Maternity knickers (also known as pregnancy knickers) are underwear for during pregnancy. They go over your bump and have an extra panel to accommodate your growing bump.

Post-partum knickers are just big knickers to wear after birth to hold in the jelly-belly and the mattress sized pad.

@Wanderlust20 exactly! I don't like under bump stuff or stuff over 10% lycra/elastane and I was shocked that M&S don't have any which is my go too. unless I just keep buying bigger sizes 0.o

Just for anyone looking. I bought seamless full briefs from matalan and they’re so comfy. I’m 24weeks and usually a size 12. I went for the L (16-18 I think)
