Round ligament pain, or something else?

Hi,

I'm on my second pregnancy in under two years, so you'd think I'd be an expert on this stuff!

I've woke up today with quite an intense stabbing, burning pain on my front lower stomach, towards the right. It's constant, gets worse at times.

I'm on shift on a ward at the minute, it's not easing when I'm on my feet or when resting.

I've had a lot of discharge today, no bleeding.

Otherwise feel okay.

I had round ligament pain first tjme round and it felt more like a period pain, however this is fees different.

Any advice is greatly appreciated xx

I had a similar pain when lying on my right hand side or sharp movements like sneezing, almost equivalent to a stitch. I didn't have the period like round ligament pain like you had with your first. Perhaps because it's your second pregnancy in 2 years your muscles are expanding quicker than in your first? I would just call your midwife and speak to her though, always better to have your mind at ease!

I've had similar, right under the bottom of my bump. It gets worse when I stand up.
Had it from around 15 weeks.
Don't know if it's the same as yours but it isn't constant.

Turns out it was PGP/SPD. At 38 worse, its now a lot worse. I was so worried something was wrong though!
