Hi ladies
Had a 20 week scan today and they’ve suggested a different sex to what we were told at 16 weeks.
Didn’t get a picture at the 20 week scan but here are the 16 week ones. What do you think?

I think he’s a boy but apparently there was no boy bits today. Very strange. Both were NHS employees too.

Your scan picture looks very different from my boy gender scan picture. He's not born yet and also our trust doesn't tell you the gender so no real confirmation. But if was quite clear he is a boy, if you get me lol

@ScottishStardust does it? That makes me lean towards girl then. I feel really bad I’ve been calling him he for 4 weeks. Think we’re going to get a blood test to triple check. Thanks for commenting though, I find it all really interesting

It looks like a girl to me - were you told boy at 16 weeks? Usually there is a visible “something” between the legs that extends quite far down the femur and there is nothing like that in your picture! Seems like your little one wants to keep you guessing!

But a girl should have the visible 'hamburger' lines and they aren't there either.

@WineInTheWillows that’s what I thought and there was nothing there at the 20 week scan, no lines, just this big bulge again ha. The lady yesterday said coz she can’t see any boy bits she would go with girl.
The lady who did the 16 week one also works for the NHS in office hours and said she was 99% they were a boy and showed us loads of images to prove including the 3D one.
I’m happy either way just have been calling him a boy and decided on a name ha. Oh well it’s all in the fun of it.
Will let you know once we’ve had this blood test
