Was it just nausea? Or being sick a lot? Did it go away by 12 weeks?
Probably going to scare myself silly but just wondering..

I felt nauseous from day dot.
Week 6-9 ish threw up constantly couldn't get out of bed, then started two medications to control it, then felt okay on the medicine just a little bit of nausea here and there.
Dropped one medication about 28 weeks, and still felt nauseous a couple of times a day, but no sickness.
Now 35 weeks and still on one medication and feel a little sick most days here and there. I think I will be on it until the end!

I had constant nausea from 6 weeks to around 17 weeks. I’d probably actually throw up about 3/4 times a week. It was horrendous! I salute women who get HG.

Nausea from weeks 6-18 with DC1. Was sick a handful of times. Very sensitive to smells, and anything and everything set me off retching.

Hyperemesis with DC2. Constant nausea and vomiting from week 7-30. ‘Just’ nausea after week 30 and could hold down food again. ‘‘Twas grim!

Non at all with my first baby but a feeling of nausea all day with number 2. I wasn't sick but felt like I was going to be all of the time, I used to have to feed my then 10 month old with a bucket by my feet. Gross. I ate crisps, white bread and full fat coke (ice cold)as they were the only things that I could stomach! It disappeared literally over night (Christmas eve!) at around 12 weeks.

DS - CONSTANT nausea for the entire pregnancy. Couldn’t eat a thing, couldn’t function, endless meds made no difference, caused multiple other complications. Living hell. They were injecting me with anti sickness even whilst in Labour.

DD- (currently 26 weeks) Weeks 6-12 were hideous and just like with DS. 12-16 Eased somewhat with medication but still not great. 16+ have been significantly better but can only eat at certain times of day and limited items.

I was a perfectly healthy and happy 26 yo when I got pregnant so never for a second thought I’d be that sick. My advice to any mum to be is ‘do not go into pregnancy thinking you’ll feel just like normal but have a bump. Assume you’ll feel crap for 9 months, to varying levels, and anything better is a win!’
