Bleeding 10 weeks pregnant so scared

Hello

I had bleeding on Wednesday and was referred for an early scan yesterday. Scan was perfect and the baby had a heartbeat and was the right size at 10
weeks. I felt so reassured

I’m absolutely devastated to be bleeding bright red blood again and have just passed a large clot.

I know no one can tell me what going to happen, I just feel so alone and scared.

Should I call the EPU back tomorrow morning- will they scan me again so quickly?

Yes- call and go back. I’ve had on and off bleeding for last 3.5 weeks. I have stopped started. I have just started again. I’m going to call the hospital when I can get childcare for my son. Bright red, lots and a clot should be checked.

@PaTCh64355 did you have an internal examination to look for causes of the bleeding when you went for the scan? I had this at 10 weeks also and it turned out I had a polyp on my cervix, so bleeding wasn’t coming from the pregnancy and baby absolutely fine x

Thankyou for your kind words. Sadly the bleeding got a lot worse over night and we ended having to call an ambulance and I had emergency surgery to remove the pregnancy.
Very sad but at least I’m ok
