Pregnancy body

I'm 35 weeks pregnant, and to be honest I feel awful.
I'm so excited to meet my little girl, and so excited to become a mum.
I've always struggled with body image, and I've always been fairly thin. But during pregnancy I've seemed to balloon!! It's making me feel really disgusting most of the time! My legs, arms, face... everywhere!
People keep telling me I look great and it's because I'm pregnant etc... but it never really makes me feel any better
...
I know how selfish this all sounds, but please reassure me I'm not alone feeling this way.
Thanks

It’s ok to want to be pregnant and want your lovely baby but also be disappointed or upset about the consequences for your body 😅💐

I had twins in November and I loved my body while pregnant because it was doing amazing things 👏
Five months pp and I look like I’m 24 weeks pregnant still. 😂
I’m just trying to accept that we go through different seasons in life. I have lots of pics of me looking gorgeous and skinny and now things are different.

Your body is doing what it needs to do to create your lovely baby. That’s a price worth paying in the end xx

It will go down, promise. You’re nearly there.

You have SO much extra fluid and blood to protect you and baby that it’s an enormously challenging time for your body.

I felt like an absolute whale at 41 weeks and didn’t move off the sofa ALL day.

Thank you so much! I feel so close but so far haha! I'd felt so guilty for feeling these things! But glad I'm not alone!
