Faint Positive or evap?

Hi ladies I’m wondering if some of you can help me. I took a pregnancy test about a week ago after being a couple of days late for my period. Is the is a faint positive or a evap? It came up within the 3 minute timeframe. I’ll post a photo of it, going out of my mind!

I can see the line but is there any reason why you can't take another one now? A week on and you should get a really definitive answer.

Looks positive to me 🥰

Lighting is not great, I would count it as an evap in that picture.
If you are still late you would get a better result if you retested now.

Hey all Thankyou for your replies, I was awaiting more tests to come and I have done one. I appreciate there is an evap line on this but there is also a faint thick line next to it?! Every test I’m taking there is some sort of faint line or something getting very stressed at this point😭

I wasn’t planning on it but I would be extremely happy absolutely! Do you think this is a positive line? I’m still debating wether it is or not😊xx

If it was within the time frame, I'd definitely say that's a positive, yes

Can you try with a pink dye test like a FRER or use a digital test?

With your period this late I'd say it's likely to be a positive but might be good to have a more definite answer

hi I'm so sorry to jump on this post but I'm new here and it won't let me start my own thread for some reason, really hoping its a positive for you!

would anyone be able to help me with my test? i took this this afternoon (I know I should of used the morning urine ) I don't know if I'm just imagining things but can anyone see a line? I'm 11dpo and af due in 4 days

This is why I am confused because I left it a few hours and it was like this?! It didn’t come straight up. Where as my first faint positive did (but then that was with morning urine) I am going to re test tomorrow with morning urine. So nervous! Will keep you all updated and no worries to anyone who wants to jump on the post I hope you all find your support. Thankyou everyone😊😊😊😊

If it was after a few hours then count as invalid. It needs to be within the time frame

I'd say if it isn't coming up by now, then you're probably not pregnant. However, if you did get a faint positive, it'll come up on a digital. If get the pregnant/not pregnant ones

At 13 days late for your period then you'd definitely expect to see a positive on a First Response as they can give positives 6 days ~before~ AF is due and you'd also expect a positive on a digital.

Have you had any clear positives on the Clear Blue tests or only ones like the second one you posted?

@RizzleRazzle I have only had 2 faint positives come up straight away and that second photo was a separate one that came up abit later. I am not going to be overly upset if it’s not positive I just want to know why my period is 2 weeks late if I’m not that’s all

I'm really not sure why you are uncertain to be honest. Both tests are positive and you are very late for your period! I have never had a negative test turn positive after 3minutes. It always stayed blank.
