Faint positive pregnancy test?

I did a pregnancy test this morning about 3wks after seeing my partner. I have a coil fitted but I’ve been told it’s in the wrong place and is not providing contraceptive cover, I’ve been waiting 5 months for an apt for it to be changed after an USS detected it being in the wrong place. (Super frustrating - thanks health Harmonie)

Anyway I took a test and had a faint line indicating a positive result. I’ve never had this before on any previous tests in my experience, always had very clear negative results so I’m naturally really concerned about having any positive line.

Any advice and help would be super appreciated

Do you have a photo hun? Faint positives are usually positives but that you are just very early. Mine tend to be dark because I always find out late (5 days after my period is due) on average xxx

I don’t know when my next period is due as it’s been erratic which is why I had the original investigations for the coil. I’ll see if I can send the pic

When you click the reply button there is a large plus sign, if you click that you can attach pictures. Whwt was the date of your last period? How long are your cycles hun? X
