NIPT Result wait time

I had my harmony NIPT test done yesterday morning at 12+2.

They said up to 10 days for results but did say it’s usually quicker than that and if it’s getting near the end then I can phone them so they can chase the lab.

I know it’s only been a day and it’s going to be into next week before I’ll hear anything but just wondered what everyone else’s experiences were of wait times?

My anxiety is through the roof lol.

I had it done at Ultrasound Direct.

Also very worried about getting an inconclusive result as my bmi is 32.

I’m hoping either way I’ll have results of some sort by the end of next week.
I think the wait for these results is worse than the wait until my first early scan!

@Moominmiss yep I found the wait excruciating as I had a high risk of downs on my initial screening test + scan so I can feel your pain it was horrendous!

I had mine with Ultrasound Direct, on a Wed afternoon and got the results by email the following Wed morning. My BMI was around 40 but no problems getting sufficient DNA.

I got mine back today so it was 9 days but I did email them to chase it up and I was lucky that someone was in the lab lol but all good thankfully
