Period like pains at 25 weeks

Since last night I've had intermittent cramping since with some blood when wiping (nothing continuous).

I've called the local midwife unit who've advised to take paracetamol and call back later if it doesn't improve.

I'd not taken paracetamol as in my experience (endometriosis) it's never made a difference to any pain in that area.

I've taken some now and I'm playing the waiting game to see if it improves but my anxiety is getting the better of me. I guess I just want some reassurance that this kind of pain is normal at this stage or if I should be asking to be seen?

I would insist on being seen.

I would insist on being seen - have you tried phoning the hospital? I believe it's EPU before 20 weeks and labour ward after 20 weeks, but check the front of your notes. I would call the labour ward number, instead of your local midwife. They should have you in for monitoring, to check baby is okay.
