Estimated Birth Weight

Hey ladies,

I know it isn’t always correct, but just out of curiosity, what were your babies estimated weights around the 27/28 weeks mark?

5 llbs 'just, hopefully. Arrived 7 pounds 8

Twins actually born at 27 weeks & 6 days. 2lb 6oz

I had a scan at 28 weeks 0 days, last week and baby is currently est as weighing 2lb 13oz which is 70th percentile I think 😅

I only remember my twins estimates at 32wk, they were 5lb each by then.
Born bang on 38wk, 8lb 5oz & 8lb 11oz.

Just under 3lbs at my 28 week scan.

This is my 3rd baby though and I never pay attention.
My first was estimated at 11lbs 4oz at my 40 week scan so they induced me early, a day later he was born at 6lbs 2oz.
My second was the opposite, estimated 7lbs at my 40 week scan, born 6 days later at 10lbs 6oz

I think my 28 week scan was 2lb10. Baby born at 37 weeks exactly weighing 6lb5 🙂

28 week growth scan: estimated weight was 2lbs 12oz which was 50th centile. Was born last week at 39+4 weighing 6lbs 13oz which was 25th centile.

Mine was estimated 2lbs at 26w2

Bloody hell!!! That's amazing! Well done (from a fellow twin mum), I cannot imagine carrying 2 babies with those weights, what a star.

In my area you aren't routinely told as they say it is not an exact science. I was told dd would be under 6lb and she was. With ds they just said he was a good weight but no indication of what that would be. He was 8lb 10oz

My daughter was estimated to be 8 Ibs and arrived weighing 6 Ibs

I'm 28 weeks and mine are small, around 2lb 1oz (22nd centile) and the other 1lb 13oz (3rd centile).

Im not sure I had one at that gestation? I don't think I had a growth scan or even a fundal height measurement until later on? Unless I'm misremembering - you'd think I'd remember as DS is only 3w old hah but have baby brain. But my DS was estimated ultimately to be about 3.1kg based on a couple of growth scans. He ended up being 3.8kg so massively wrong! DD I had no growth scans but based off fundal height measurements was initially estimated to be 4+kg or something I can't remember exactly but big basically. She was only 3.1kg so again massively wrong but the other way around!

2lb10 at 28 weeks I think.
