I'm a bit confused about what if any quantity of tuna from a can you can eat.

You will find loads of different sources of advice online but I would say just stick with the good ol' NHS as it is simpler and you know it's trustworthy:

www.nhs.uk/pregnancy/keeping-well/foods-to-avoid/

"You should eat no more than 2 tuna steaks (about 140g cooked or 170g raw) or 4 medium-size cans of tuna (about 140g when drained) per week".

I'd always been told to limit it to 1 can a week

I just go by the NHS guidelines 🤷🏻‍♀️ I probably have 2 tins a week on average, and wouldn’t have above 3/4
