I was sent to EPAU yesterday as I’m having light brown discharge with right sided pain. I had bloods taken which the Dr said all looked fine and I was scanned. To my dates I was 6+3 yesterday, I’m pretty sure but I know you can ovulate late and or implantation can take longer. Anyway, the sonographer put me at 5-6 weeks, that’s all she said. She showed me the gestational sac in the right place and a cyst in my overy which is likely why I’m I’m pain as she said it’s leaking. She didn’t tell me any measurements
When she showed me the gestational sac, she hovered over a white circle which to me looked like a yolk sac, all she said was this could be the start of something...that was it, maybe I’m trying to see something more than there was,I don’t know. She was very nice and told me she can’t see anything wrong but obviously can’t tell me everything’s currently ok either. I’m booked for another scan in two weeks time...it’s just made me feel a bit meh about that whole thing..
