Okay this is a-bit random but first baby here so never felt it before. I think I'm starting to feel 'flutters or bubbles' as I've seen them described everywhere, I'm 17 weeks and 5 days. I think that's what they are but would I be able to hear them as-well? I know that sounds so weird and ridiculous but every time I get this little flutter or bubble i feel like I can hear it? You know when your stomach makes little gurgling noises? Or is this something completely different? I'm so confused! Haha

I never heard my baby's movements I have to say. It did become more obvious what they were after a couple of weeks. I'd describe it being a bit like when your eyelid twitches but in your bump.

The 1st movements are very similar to gut rumbles but unlikely to make noise. The noise could be your brain associating the movement to familiar gut rumbles though and making you hear noise that isn't there.

@Jade97 I’m 19 weeks now and first felt movement at 16 weeks. I have an anterior placenta though so I really only feel the little kicks, rather than flutters. No sound involved though! Occasionally I feel ‘gas’ bubbles and for a second wonder if it’s the baby, but sometimes that’s accompanied with gurgling noises and then know it’s not the baby/am getting used to knowing which is which now! Think once you start feeling it consistently you’ll be more confident, plus the movements will only get stronger ☺️

Noises will be wind. But you may be feeling baby's movements as well, I felt what I was sure were movements around the 16 week mark with my first even though most people don't feel them until later with their first. I was very thin at the time due to hyperemesis which I'm sure contributed to feeling movements quite early.
