FTM so no experience of what's normal...
Baby is head down and engaged (i think?) confirmed by MW last week.
Since yesterday i sometimes get sharp pains inside very low (around pubic area).
It's not spd because i have been having it since 3rd trimester and it's a totally different pain, like inside.

This one happens when i am not moving and it's very short and sharp like a knife. Doesn't last though and happens randomly.

Is it the baby pushing on cervix? Anyone had it?

I see my midwife on Thursday so will mention it but if anyone could share their experience in the meantime... thank you!

Often called 'fanny daggers', apt description. Common. But do mention to midwife!

It sounds like it could be "lightning crotch". Definitely talk to your midwife if worried though x

Oh yes I've had this. Still getting it at 38+5 and seems to be getting worse. I mentioned it to midwife and she said it's just everything relaxing ready for the big day. I scream out in pain sometimes as when he wakes up and rolls about I can feel him moving on a nerve and shoots a pain right down my groin through my leg!
