Was 3+ and now 2-3 weeks on digital test

Hi,

I tested positive at the weekend, with two really strong lines on normal tests (Saturday and Sunday) and on the Saturday, I did the dating clearblue too said that said 3+ weeks. I thought this was out as I should only be 5 weeks on Wednesday.

Anyway, before calling my GP and midwife today, I thought I’d quadruple check but all I had was the dating tests, which is now saying only 2-3 weeks. Is this a bad sign?

I’ve had a miscarriage before and I am petrified of it happening again. I also suffer from anxiety (which I don’t deal with well). I know that the dating tests can be inaccurate but I’ve inadvertently worried myself more.

Thanks in advance.

@Riven1993 sorry to hear about your previous loss and that you are feeling anxious. I don't think those tests are always very reliable in terms of dating a pregnancy, plus factors like how much fluid you've had/when you take the test etc will all impact the result. I wouldn't worry too much about the digital :) x

The tests aren't accurate. There are also many factors which can affect how strong the test results are. Once you've tested once, there really is no need to test again. Especially if you've had a strong line
