Hiya @Rac3693 I'm due on 14th so 6 days.

I have had various aches and more discharge then I care to remember but no loss of mucus plug, BH or even leaky boobs!

I've read people can go straight to contractions without signs so fingers crossed the lack of signs doesn't mean 42 weeks which I am mentally preparing myself for!

Is this your first? How are you other than waiting?

Springtimemam · 08/03/2021 11:15

Hi! I'm due the 16th with my second. I've gradually been losing my mucous plug but no bloody show. @serialplanner I'm the same with the discharge, I don't remember it with my son but maybe I just blocked it out because its so unpleasant. I've had a few BH but no leaky boobs but I never had that first time round either.

Hi! I’m due on the 23rd so a few days behind you all, but I went into labour with my first a few days early so hoping it might be the same this time round! No signs of anything yet other than some very mild cramping but I think that might just be due to the amount of cake I consumed over the weekend...

Hey!

Due on the 16th March with my little man, first pregnancy so nooo idea what to expect labour wise!!
I keep watching out for symptoms but nothing yet... and I was so sure he would make an early appearance!

The only thing was yesterday I had a massive pain in my tummy that radiated down my back, bum and my legs...I think it may have been a practice contraction or Braxton hicks maybe... not sure but nothing since which is annoying!

I don't know about anyone else but I'm super excited for labour!

Good luck ladies! Smile

@Springtimemam you've taught me something there! I thought the plug and show was the same! Isn't it odd everytime you go to the loo checking what has happened since the last time 5 minutes ago! What week did your first show up?

Springtimemam · 08/03/2021 18:59

@firsttimemamax i didn't have any signs with my son until a few days before when I had a bit of a show. He was born at 39+5 so theres still time for baby to come early.

@serialplanner it can be sometimes where it all comes away at once, and when it comes away in bits it can regenerate apparently. My midwife said the blood in it is from when you dilate quickly the blood vessels in the cervix break but if it's coming away in bits means things are happening a bit slower. My first show i lost bits of my plug about a week before my due date then a few days before i started having contractions i had a show, it wasn't much though only like 1 streak of blood or so, i was expecting worse. I can't remember exactly when as it was pretty much years ago.

Springtimemam · 08/03/2021 19:00

@serialplanner that should say it was pretty much 8 year ago, i have a bit of an age gap x

Due tomorrow! Had some really strong BH last week but otherwise no obvious signs. Having a sweep today so we'll see what that does.

Hope you're all doing okay and not too uncomfortable. This is my second and finding it a bit tough with DS (slow getting up and down, can't really play in the way he'd like - he's currently very into games involving bumping and falling down etc). How are your older two doing @Rac3693?

Rac3693 · 09/03/2021 13:21

I know how you feel! They are 5 and 3 years old and so relieved that they are finally back in school so having a bit of time to rest up before this baby comes.
