Late to get a positive result

Hi everyone -
I’m just wondering if anyone has had any experience with a late positive?! I should be 6/7 weeks pregnant (going by last period) but only got my first positive yesterday - (clear blue 1-2weeks)..
I had a miscarriage in October then next period didn’t come until January.. so I’m thinking I’ve maybe ovulated late..
really want to stay positive but a little concerned as I would be 13 days late before I finally got a positive result. X

Unless you had a positive that then turned negative, I’d take it that you ovulated later as hormones out of whack from the Mc x

It took almost 2 weeks after a missed period for my positive with my son. When I went to my 12 week scan they dated me 10 weeks 2 days. So I must've ovulated really late! He's 8 and doing really well 😊 congrats!! X

Ahhh that’s reassuring. My dates were so different with my little girl.. but before having her my periods were so irregular (2 a year if lucky).
But after having her (she’s 22months) my periods were regular apart from after the miscarriage. X

Oh really! Mine have already been like clockwork which made me think it was strange as my 2nd pregnancy I ovulated around day 8 and this pregnancy I ovulated day 18!

No - didn’t track ovulation. We have had two miscarriages one in July & one in October - so we were just going to take a break with trying.. but if it happened - it would be a bonus. After my period was late - I got excited then my test was negative on the 22nd feb & 27th feb... just assumed then my cycle was longer/missed period. But a test came back positive on 6th March (13 days late & showed 1-2 on clear blue)..
all abit strange!

I'm 12 days late today and got a bfp which surprised me as it says 1-2 weeks. I had sex 15th and 17th and must've conceived the week after

Hi sorry to jump on the post! But May i ask- did u get a lot of negatives before getting ur bfp? I’m 12 days late today and been testing negatives but absolutely no sign of AF and having awful load of symptoms. Tia xx

Yes but only 2 negatives first but mine turned out to be a chemical pregnancy, unfortunately. I would've been around 10 weeks if it worked out 🥺
