Suspecting a twin pregnancy?

I'm about 10 weeks pregnant, second pregnancy (first was 8 years ago), I'm 33. This time round the sickness and tiredness is SO much worse 😭
Has anyone else experienced such different pregnancy symptoms with two singleton pregnancies? I'm starting to wonder if it's twins.

I had terrible nausea and fatigue in the 1st trimester with current, also got a faint positive almost a week before af due. I have fraternal twin girls already and felt worse in this pregnancy than with them. 2 scans have confirmed that it is just 1 baby though.

I just think all pregnancies are different. Only a scan will be able to say if there is one or more in there. Good luck.

I’m in a similar situation, have 2 daughters, 2 years old and 10 months, this time I’ve had different symptoms and had a bump since 6 weeks. Now 11 weeks and I look a few months pregnant😂😂

Can’t wait for the scan just to find out what’s going on!

@Chelyanne that's fascinating! How interesting, thanks for sharing! Could well blow my theory out of the window 😂
@Rayray94 such a guessing game isn't it!

I was interested to read this because I'm a twin. My Dm knew before doctors did but pre ultra sounds (im old!)
But in my first pregnancy I felt awful - sick and tired. Singleton.

I thought I could be carrying twins second time round - sicker, bigger and a very strong positive result. Actually I was just a week further along than I thought so my hormone levels would have been higher when I did the test. I think an awful lot of people suspect a twin pregnancy tbh, and it's just confirmation bias when it does indeed turn out to be the case.

Hmm, I leapt to "different sex" rather than "twins" to explain my worse pregnancy symptoms. I was right.

I'm 10+3 weeks pregnant for the fourth time (hopefully my third baby 🤞🏻). My sickness is waaay worse than with my other pregnancies and it started a lot sooner too - I did wonder if there could be two in there but I had an early scan at 9+1 weeks and there was just one kicking around!

I've only ever been pregnant with girls so I'm wondering if this little one could maybe be a boy this time and perhaps that's why I feel so much worse. Or it could be because this time round I've also got a 3 year old and a 1 year old to run around after, I guess only time will tell!
