Pregnancy anxiety

I don’t think that’s the right phrase for it sorry!

I’m so happy and excited to be pregnant but have an awful feeling things won’t work out, it’s like the more I want it to the more likely it is that something bad will happen. I did have a mmc before I gave birth to my DD who is 3.5, so bit sure if it’s that or that I feel totally different in this pregnancy before.

I have a scan booked for next week, I am around 7-8 weeks at the moment.

I know worrying won’t do any good but I just have this horrible feeling and can’t shake it off. I don’t want to think of it as gut instinct because I can see myself with another baby and giving dd a sibling, I guess it is just anxiety?

Has anyone else felt like this and for everything to be fine? Or any coping mechanisms?

I have a midwife appointment in a couple of weeks so will talk more then but some real experiences would be really helpful

@Kowhai13 do you know what you are so right, whichever way it goes it’s not because I “predicted” it. I think that will stay with me.

My scan ctually went well ☺.Im Just waiting for the combined test results now, I feel like I will rest better once I've had them aswellvx

I’m having a scan next week! Very nervous...

Also feeling guilty as I’ve just been taking folic acid and vit d and that I should be taking pregnacare or a multivitamin so will get some ordered ha!

@lolateddy it went well thank you, the sonographer said she could feel the tension release and I basically changed colour when they saw the heartbeat haha! Now to wait for the 13 week scan argh! Thank you for asking x

I have my 9 week private scan next week, feeling terrified but hoping all will be ok. Xx

Im actually going for a wellbeing and gender scan this afternoon at dot on 16 weeks and its come around so quickly!

I’m currently 4wks 2 days & so worried I can’t shake it off. I’ve never had a miscarriage with any pregnancy this being my 3rd. I think the thing that concerns me is having a high bmi & being 37. I’ve booked a reassurance scan 28th of April.
