When do you get scans in Tunbridge Wells area

I had a mc 10 months ago and have just found out I'm pregnant again. I can't wait to have a scan hopefully to see that everything is okay. At what points do they scan you at the Tunbridge Wells hospital. I'm not sure if I'm going to have a triple test by the way.

I'm having my scan at Crowborough Birthing Centre - I'll be 12 weeks. I would imagine that TW will offer you the same - is that Pembury Hospital? Your midwife will go through the options at your booking-in appointment - have you see her yet?

I m/c at 6wks in August. As it was straightforward and my first m/c in 4 pregnancies, neither myself, my GP or midwife are concerned that it's an ongoing problem. And I feel sick enough to know that things are progressing this time!

A friend who is 11 weeks pregnant and has had 5 m/c in the last 2 years was given an early scan at 8wks at the London hospital where she has been undergoing tests. Her nuchal fold is next week. But she is rather a special case.

First of all congratulations on your pregnancy! I have had 2 miscarriages in the past (plus a healthy 18 mo as well thankfully) and am now 12 weeks pg. I live just outside T Wells. Usually you will be offered a 12 week dating scan and then the anomoly scan at 20 weeks in this area. However because of your previous mc your doctor/midwife may refer you for an early scan at about 7 weeks. This is entirely at their discretion and usually only if you have some pain and/or spotting however. For T Wells this will be at Pembury Hospital but they are always extremely busy and so appointments out of the norm can be hard to negotiate. What I have done in the past is to pay the £50 or so for this early scan myself and go to one of the private scanning clinics at Sevenoaks or Kings Hill. You can normally get an appointment immediately at either of these places. But don't go too early, do wait until at least 7 weeks, it will seem forever but better than having to go back because it is too soon to see anything as has happened to me before! How many weeks are you now? What were the circs of your previous mc? GOOD LUCK x

I think I might look into having a private scan for reassurance. Thank you all.
