Hi ladies I am looking for some advice, I am 29+5 and my baby is measuring on the 96th percentile so he is a big boy for his gestational age! Recently I’ve had a bit of a sore back but today it has been really sore and I’ve cramps in my lower back coming and going all day but with no regular intervals between them. I was thinking this could maybe be braxton hicks I am a ftm so not entirely sure. However the past few days I’ve been quite badly constipated (sorry tmi) and after eating dinner tonight I’ve realised the cramps have been worse and more regular after eating! Does this sound like it could be anything to do with being constipated? X

I have regular Brandon Hicks.. mine are not painful at all, it’s just like a tightening sensation across the front of my bump, and my bump goes hard to the touch while it’s happening.

Sounds like you probably have trapped wind, but if they do get painful and regular then call your midwife.
