When did you get your MatB1?

When do you get your matb1? Im 22 weeks and see my midwife on tues, will she give me it then?

I got mine when I went for my 20 week scan, I did have to ask for it though

My midwife is giving me mine at my 25 week appt, not sure if that’s a bit late?

Nothing was mentioned at my 20 week scan but i will mention it on tues at my 22 week appointment and hopefully the midwife will give me it then

After my anomaly scan. I forgot to ask for it at the hospital so I phoned my gp , they issued it and left it at the desk for me to pick up.

They're not allowed to issue it before 20wk. You need to give it to your employer a minimum of 4 weeks before you wish to start maternity leave.

Please make sure you actually ask for it as well. That sounds silly - but not everyone needs one, so it is your responsibility to ask.

I got mine at my 20wk scan - the hospital just offered me one. MW also asked if I needed one at 22wk appt. If they don't offer just ask next time you see them. You have to notify your employer at least 15 weeks before you are due to go on maternity but you can send them the form after notifying them so no rush.

It's your midwife that will give it. I requested mine from my midwife at 24 weeks as my first in person appointment was 28 weeks. Can't get it before 20 weeks though. Usually they give it around 24 weeks

Mine has said she will give it to me at my 25 week appointment, but I can request it any time after my 20 week scan if my employer is insisting on having it sooner (which they shouldn't).

25 week appointment for my first and as I didn't have a 25 week appointment with my second, we my 28 week appointment. I hadn't seen my midwife since my 16 week appointment.

There should be no issue though.

Iv seen my midwife every 6 weeks from 9 weeks so should hopefully get it when i go on tues, will make sure that i ask
