Does anyone have any recommendations on where I could get myself some maternity thick black leggings? All the other ones I have bought are a bit see through! Thanks Xx

Might be different now as my dd is nearly 6, but I loved the New Look ones when I was pregnant. (And until she was 6 months Blush)

100% Love Leggings

I’m not sold on love leggings. I bought a pair and they seem to shrink with every wash to the point that I have to constantly pull them down at my ankles. I’m not particular tall so that isn’t the issue either. They are thick but I prefer a more supportive feeling leggings that holds everything together. I’m 26 weeks pregnant and living in my new look high waisted ones, not the maternity ones though. They feel really nice and sturdy.

I always buy a size up in leggings, have done this with my maternity ones too. Got mine from new look, nice length for me at 5ft 8. Much comfier and do not go see-through when I squat, use day to day and in the gym. I hate to spend a fortune on leggings because they never last well enough what ever the cost.

I like my love leggings ones and they are definitely thick but do size up for late 2nd/3rd trimesters as they recommend - the ones I bought in my original size were great to start with but don't cover my bump anymore (35 wks now), the ones a size up do just about (I am measuring 3-4 weeks ahead though!). I also find them quite short - I'm 5ft9 and bought long length and they only just reach my ankles now they've been washed a couple of times.

I also got some cheaper ones from amazon that were recommended here (sinophant brand) - they were great through 2nd trimester and are really stretchy and not see through and I'll wear them after but they don't have the shaping in the groin area that maternity leggings have so look a bit odd and aren't that comfy anymore.

I purchased a pair of Love Leggings this morning (already despatched!) so looking forward to seeing what they are like. Will also have a look into New Look ones Grin

I’ve lived in my new look ones this pregnancy and my previous one. They’re the more expensive ones they sell, nice and thick with a big thick waistband at the top so they don’t dig in
