I’m suffering with horrible sickness where I’m sick about 4/5 a day and just want cheering up! Basically I bought a brand new car just before getting pregnant which I now cannot even bare to look at due to the ‘new car smell’ it has. It’s so bad that even when I open the curtains in the morning and see it I instantly throw up! Haha what are your weird triggers?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Couldn’t cope with getting anything out of the freezer in the first trimester. Not sure if it was smell or cold, but it used to make me vomit.
We had a new bathroom installed when I was in 1st trimester, the smell of inside the cupboards still makes me feel pukey now even at 29 weeks

Mine is the oven. The smell it makes when cooking if it's not 100% clean. It's so bad I've got a professional coming in to take it apart and clean in the hope it will help.

Any mention of the tv programme The Serpent instantly provokes nausea - I watched it all whilst feeling terrible in the first trimester. Also the smell of the aircon as you walk into our local supermarket makes me gag every time 🙈😂

Mine was my phone weirdly! Couldn’t even look at it in early pregnancy .

@mgee123 omg same i watched the serpent when I was in a right state! It was a good distraction and kind of made me feel better about my own situation but also all the vomitint/smoking/drinking made me feel so sick id have to look away. Fantastic show though.

Meat. Couldn't even walk past a butcher's shop. Had to cross the road.

Coffee. Used to make DH a morning coffee with a peg on my nose.
