Wasn't sure where to post this to be honest but here goes -

I gave birth beginning of December, had about 5 weeks of blood loss, about 2 weeks bleed free and then had my first period, which was as normal for what they usually are for me.

A few days before I was due my next period I had some spotting lasted 2 days, then no period, I did HPT which came back negative after 2 days being late just to check.
I'm now in cycle day 44 and I had some spotting again today but nothing more.

My CM hasn't really changed it's been relatively thick and stretchy/sticky. Had period type stomach pains and backache. I have noticed the last week or so I've been getting quite dizzy, but I am also exhausted (I have a 2 year old abs 3 month old twins - so I'd find it odd if I wasn't exhausted!)
Really confused about what's going on. After my first son once my blood loss stopped and I had my first period that was pretty much it they were back to normal. I wasn't/am not breastfeeding if that makes any difference at all!

Anyone got any ideas? I haven't re-tested as of yet.

Its still quite early for your usual cycle to be in place. Do another test to check. You're probably tired because you have 3 month old twins and a toddler!

Do another test, if negative then it's unlikely you have fallen pregnant again. Being run down can disruption your cycles too so it may be completely normal. Are you still taking multivitamins? If not, adding them in could help.

I know how exhausting having newborn twins is, we had ours with 3 older siblings and I was like a zombie in the early days. It gets better though as they establish a good routine. Good luck and enjoy

It's most likely your body just getting back to normal. My daughter was born nearly 6 months ago (formula fed) and I've only just had a normal, pre-pregnancy length cycle. I know this for a fact as I use an app to avoid my fertile time.
