Best place to buy nursing/maternity bras?

I’m only 11 weeks but my boobs are out of control. My current ones are too tight and uncomfortable so I need to invest in some new ones. I know they aren’t cheap to buy but equally don’t want to spend a fortune. At this point I’m not fussed what they look like, I just need them to be comfortable!
Having said that if there are any pretty looking bras that are also comfortable then obviously would be ideal!

So far I’ve looked at next online. Honestly have a mind block as to where else to look.
In my last pregnancies I got them from mothercare.

I got a few from bravado online. They have been great during pregnancy, feeding and now while I'm just not sure what size I am anymore! Stretchy and comfy but also supportive. Not at all pretty though I'm afraid!

Measure yourself and use boob or bust online size calculator. I bought from nursingbra-shop.co.uk. First looked at bravissimo, but found better selection at the aforementioned online shop...

I'm wearing bralets. Comfy, soft, still padded and supportive. Stretchy !

I got a 2 pack of non underwire nursing bras from Seraphine that have been great and are so comfy! Not the most stylish mind you

I've bought so many and have never really found something really really nice. I like matching sets so that limits it a bit more but why does everything have to be black or white a look so old fashioned. I did get some nice ones from Cake Maternity but they're quite expensive. Some simple nice quality ones from Vertbaudet but grey is adventurous as it got.

Figleaves do a range of flexiwired bras that actually look like nice normal bras and I find comfortable and supportive. Personally I don't get on with the non wired/sports bra style maternity and nursing bras. As long as they're well fitted there isn't actually an issue with wearing wired bras in pregnancy and breastfeeding (I'm currently pregnant and still feeding my 2 year old) but appreciate its not comfortable for everyone.

Molke! I was a 32H pre pregnancy and have jumped to 34K at 26 weeks, and my molkes are currently the only bras I can wear. They’re not the prettiest or the cheapest, but they are so supportive and as they’re stretchy and cover a couple of sizes, there’s still room to grow. They often have bras in their outlet section of the site, or there’s a really active buy/sell/trade Facebook group to get them a bit cheaper.

I wouldn't buy specific nursing/maternity ones at this point. they are very expensive and you are likely to need different sizes at various stages of pregnancy as your boobs change and ribs expand. I would look for some good quality supportive non wired ones and then get properly fitted for nursing bras towards the end of your pregnancy

I can second Molke again as someone with a "weird size"! Though the first one I ordered should have fit, it was a bit small in the cups so pulled on my shoulders so I ordered a few more and sent the first one back. I like that they cover a few sizes so they should hopefully now see me through breastfeeding or at least cope with another bit of a growth spurt.

I bought these last June for baby born in July. They have nursing clips and a really handy extra piece to extend the back. I wear them constantly (on rotation, lol) and they still look brand new. Brilliant value for money and free next Day delivery with prime highly recommended!

H&M have the best mat bras.

However in my first trimester I went and brought bigger wireless bra's first as you body changes sooo quikcky

Does anyone know how/if you measure yourself differently when pregnant? I'm sure in my previous pregnancy the woman in the shop mentioned there's a different way to measure but obviously without being able to go anywhere for fittings at the moment we'll have to estimate!

Not sure about a different way to measure but I was told to get one that fits properly on the tightest hooks so you can loosen if required. Usually you would buy one that fitted on the loosest so you could tight as it gives with wear.

@MumOfThreeToBe2021 interestingly I read if you’re buying one whilst in the later stages of pregnancy get one that fits on the loosest hooks as apparently your ribcage expands during pregnancy and then shrinks again after birth. For cupsize I just took a guess and went 1 size up as my weight gain hadn’t been too crazy during pregnancy. I’m now 4 weeks post birth and I somehow got the nursing bra sizes bang on!

Asda seems to have a decent range of wireless bras in a range of sizes, rather than the usual s/m/l which really don't account for small back sizes and large cup sizes. Boob or bust your measurements first.

My boobs have gone up at least 2 cup sizes already and I know the chest strap around is now on it’s tightest setting and even that is tight so I badly need to invest in something.

I think as a few of you have suggested I may just invest in some cheaper comfortable non wired bras for now (while I have no idea how much more they will change), and then nearer the end invest in some actual maternity/nursing bras.

They need to stop though, I look ridiculously top heavy at the moment 🙈 oh isn’t complaining but my back definitely is!
