Hi everyone, this past week I'm starting to feel slow cramps over my stomach usually around the middle as it feels like the baby is slowly moving around my belly. Especially during the night if I switch sides and he moves position! It's so bizarre and achy! Feels like period pains in the middle of my tummy.

Today I have more pain right at the top of my bump which is new - I think it must his position as he is suddenly kicking what feels like, directly under my ribs.... is this normal?! It can be really quite sore at times and then gets better!

I'm pretty sure this sensation is baby stretching out. I get it and can feel a solid lump in that area when it happens.

If however it's your whole uterus and it all goes hard and contracts get checked to be safe

Rib flare. Could be. It will only get worse. It's (one of the many many reasons) why we heavily pregnant women toss and turn at night.

Ask your midwife at your next appointment.

But the majority of aches, pains and discomforts are totally normal. But it's always ok to ask someone medical!!!!
