Hi,
I'm currently 7 weeks pregnant today and monday evening I found light pink blood in my knickers. It wasn't much but I was concerned at the colour of it and was still bleeding a little when I wiped.
I rang the hospital and the midwife said if I was still bleeding in the morning to ring my GP to get referred to EPU. I was but very little so I rang and have been referred for a scan but not until next week and it's worrying me like mad.
It has turned to brown discharge now and i'm getting some aches/cramps down below but not painful or out of the ordinary.
I just wondered if anyone has experienced something similar and baby has been ok? I'm so worried/scared right now!

Hi, I had this around 6/7 weeks, it turned out I had a small hematoma which was causing the bleeding. The baby was completely unaffected and by the time I had a scan at 11 weeks it had gone completely. I am now nearly 14 weeks and it's all going well. I hope you have a similar outcome.

Thank you for replying @Crazylemon86. It has definately reassured me a little and i'm glad to hear your baby is doing well!
I've heard that unless it's heavy bleeding and unbearable cramps not too worry but it's hard not too isn't it?
I'm praying for good news come tuesday!

If it’s gone brown rather than turning red that’s definitely reassuring that the bleeding has perhaps passed now xx

@zrus it's so hard not to worry. I lost identical twin girls last July at 16 weeks so this pregnancy has caused quite a lot of anxiety anyway. I am just trying to take it a day at time. I really hope you get a positive outcome xx

@Cafeaulait27 hopefully thank you! I see a lot about implantation bleeding but surely I wouldn't get that at 7 weeks? I'm a first time mum so not really sure what to expect xx

I has to answer you. I am currently 22 and 2 days today with a perfectly healthy baby. I had bleeding/spotting from 6ish weeks to 14 weeks and I was also very crampy a lot of the time. The last bleed was bright red with a a clot. It really got me down this baby has been 7 years in the making and I was convinced it would end in disaster. It could be so many things. Mine was put down to a fibroid adjusting to the growing organs down below. I will be thinking about you !

@hollyannfra2020 thank you for your story and the reassurance! I'm hoping it's just a bit of bleeding from something like that and nothing serious. I'm trying to stay positive but it's so hard to not think of the worst. Thank you! Hope all is well in your pregnancy x
