Hello,

As the title says really! I am 6+3 and don't have and sickness or nausea yet (I did have this quite early on with my DS)

My boobs were slightly sore but this has now gone. I am slightly tired but nothing major! Also I keep waking up early but think this may just due to worry.

I'm working myself up so much that this isn't a viable pregnancy due to the lack of symptoms 😭

My nausea started before I got a strong bfp (why I tested), started to ease off from around 11wk but still get occasional bouts now at 16+1.
My symptoms have been quite different with all pregnancies, I've felt worse with this one than I did with my twin girls.

My morning sickness in last pregnancy didn't start until 7 weeks and was only very mild. Few hours of nausea in the morning and some days I could even sleep through it. My sil has always had terrible sickness early on and in her last pregnancy she thought she was going to get away with it as it didn't start until 8 weeks.

Try not to worry, every pregnancy is different and some people don't have any symptoms at all. That's why there will always be some people who don't find out until late on!

sneakpeek1414 · 03/03/2021 09:31

Ok thanks! So there is still time for some symptoms to start then.

Think I'll be happy when I have an early scan as right now I just feel like there's nothing there despite the positive tests 😣

I didn't get any nausea or sickness at all with both my pregnancies - just a bit of indigestion in the late stages, so you might be very lucky!

MintGreenLife · 03/03/2021 09:34

@sneakpeek1414 I'm 18 weeks and I had no nausea at all. I had very few symptoms in the first trimester - just sore boobs and a bit tired. From what I understand every pregnancy is different - you can have horrible morning sickness and all the symptoms with one, and hardly anything with the other. Just because you had MS before doesn't mean you'll definitely suffer this time :) a lack of symptoms doesn't mean much I don't think x

IndiaMay · 03/03/2021 09:37

I've not been pregnant, hoping to start trying soon! But my mums had 3 pregnancies and never had any sickness or nausea. Her only symptoms were a metal taste in her mouth very early on and tiredness. You might be a lucky one

Smilingdonkey · 03/03/2021 09:39

I had terrible terrible MS with a missed miscarriage at 13 weeks - I had it bad with the other two but it started later (7-8 weeks?) and wasn't as severe. Hope that helps! Xxxxx

Justmuddlingalong · 03/03/2021 09:42

Three kids, never had any morning sickness. No nausea or vomiting at all.

sneakpeek1414 · 03/03/2021 09:47

Thanks for the reassurance everyone! I think it's just because I remember the sickness with my first and not it's not there this time I'm panicking!

Also my boobs stopping hurting is not cool!

About 7 weeks both times

firstimemamma · 03/03/2021 09:48

I never had any. Not trying to be smug but just trying to offer reassurance that it's ok to not feel sick.

FloconDeNeige · 03/03/2021 09:53

Mine started at 5 weeks. Lasted until term. Vomiting around 15 times per day throughout, extreme nausea when not vomiting. In and out of hospital for 9 months for IV fluids & iron. Lost my job because of it.

Honestly, be grateful you’re not experiencing it! Absolute worst period of my life (both pregnancies).

MrsB2019x · 03/03/2021 10:10

I started feeling quite nauseous/dizzy at around 5/6 weeks, like a bad hangover. That cleared up at 10/11 weeks, then the vomiting started at 12 weeks 😅

SaraJS216 · 03/03/2021 10:22

Mine started at 7 weeks, I remember the exact moment of onset when I was stuck in 3 hours of traffic to Bluewater shopping centre with nothing to eat or drink 😂 I hope you don't suffer too badly with it this pregnancy OP

Em4815 · 03/03/2021 10:27

I'm 29 weeks and can honestly say I have never felt sickness at all. It did get me worried before 12 week scan as I wondered if anything was actually happening but all was good! So not everyone does get it even though it's the one thing you always hear about. Try not to worry!

sylbunny · 03/03/2021 10:44

I didn't really have any nausea really with this (second) pregnancy. Not as strong aversions either. All I had was the tiredness and generally feeling a bit run down.

Summersun12 · 03/03/2021 10:46

6wk 4 days with a vengence

sneakpeek1414 · 03/03/2021 11:09

Thank you for all the responses! I can see how that it could start at any time in the next two weeks or not at all!

Who ever thought I'd be wishing for sickness 😩😩

BellamyBells · 03/03/2021 11:11

Not for aaaaages. I was convinced I wasn't pregnant. 11 weeks according to my pregnancy journal. I was never sick sick, just nauseus for a week or so.

Rosieposy89 · 03/03/2021 11:21

Mine started around week 6. Now 11+5 and it's still there. This is my first pregnancy, at 5 weeks I felt great and thought pregnancy was bloody easy and what was all the fuss about it being hard. I've ate humble pie now 😅

TheHumanSatsuma · 03/03/2021 11:24

From about 6 weeks and continued until about 24 when it eased up slightly.

Not quite as bad second time.

LeonaMar · 03/03/2021 12:27

I’m the opposite to you, first pregnancy hardly any sickness. Second pregnancy and I am massively struggling at 7 weeks to the point I’ve had to go on anti sickness meds! It really is true that every single pregnancy is different xx

GummyBear91 · 03/03/2021 16:28

Just after 5w for me and still going strong at 10w1d although I've had a day or two showing signs of it letting up... Well I thought and I and that last two days have been grim. Relentless tiredness as well, some days I could genuinely sleep all day and all night if I didn't have to work.

If you don't get symptoms enjoy it. This pregnancy lark is totally grim for me and I really hope my symptoms pass soon!!!

SnooperTrooper12345 · 03/03/2021 16:37

Never had any symptoms apart from my boobs being slightly sore which came and went week to week. Symptoms don't mean anything
