Hi, I'm pg after mmc in July. My periods were irregular last one 1st jan. been testing every other week and was positive last week. Filled with joy/happiness but I am terrified of losing it. Midwifes dated me almost 7/8 weeks cause of LP so have 1st app next Friday and scan in 3 weeks don't think I can wait that long. Also keep testing every morning. I was so sick when I had my mmc but I feel great this time except from tender breasts and some abdo tenderness at night but no sickness like last time. I just need to know all okay I feel like I'm going mad it's horrible not knowing 😔

Hi OP congratulations on your new pregnancy and sorry for your previous loss! I had a MMC last august, and I'm now pregnant again had my 20 week scan yesterday and everything is looking good. The anxiety is tough but hang in there, after my MMC I got a letter to say I was entitled to early reassurance scans in my next pregnancy maybe it's something you can ask about? I personally didn't have a scan untill 12 weeks as last time I had a private scan at 9 weeks and all was well but by the time I had my 12 week scan all was not well! But an early scan might take your anxiety away a bit.

Thank you and congratulations to you too! Yes I'm the same early scans last time made me more anxious and bad news at dating scan. I do feel good though suppose I just need to let nature take its course and try to keep calm. I feel like I'm showing already also which is strange. Just nice to hear from someone thank you x

@STCMB so sorry for your loss🥺

Congratulations💓 I am in a similar boat. I had a stillbirth in 2015 with my identical twins girls. I’ve since had 3 miscarriages, one in April last year (where it stopped growing at 6 weeks, but didn’t start bleeding till 9 weeks) It took us till October to fall again, that was a chemical, December again, another miscarriage. I found out I was pregnant again on feb 6th and I’m currently 7 weeks, if we count from my LP. As I didn’t track ovulation as we were taking a break.

But I’m the same with you and the symptoms.
I had sore boobs and they sort of tapered off, but I notice them more on the evening now when I take my bra off. Just feel like bruised. I’ve had mild cramping the last few days, mainly in the evening again. But nothing painful and no bleeding. Last week I had a headache for 2 days straight, and felt sick. Again, gone now. I’m yawning a lot more, but wouldn’t say exhausted. I feel like the lack of signs is just making me a bit more paranoid than I already am. Feel like I just want to cuddle the toilet and be throwing up😂

Sending you love, and like everyone says. Each pregnancy is different x

Oh OP, I really feel for you.
I had a MMC last year, I was so sick in the first term, to find baby had died weeks before my scan.
I then had a CP followed swiftly by another pregnancy, where I did eventually have slight nausea and need to lay down after meals, but the sickness was pretty much non existent through the days in general.

I'm now due my baby from this pregnancy.

It's been absolutely paranoia and panic the whole pregnancy but so far, so good.

Be kind to yourself, you have a long way to go, but there are positive stories out there.

Good luck Thanks

You take lots of care, Molly. Your story breaks my heart. Thanks I have everything crossed for you!

@MollySxx @WhiskeyTangoFoxtrot1
Thank you for your kind words. It's so hard to not think about the baby every second of the day. But I do feel more positive about this pregnancy almost like I knew something wasn't right last time.
Good luck to you both and our rainbow babies xxx

@STCMB I was watching something the other day with a MC and it still hit me. Even with this baby as far along as they are, nothing will take away the thoughts and pain, it just becomes more manageable and you have the positives to look forward to.

Best of luck, and do let your midwives know about any anxiety, they can recommend a MH midwife and they can help a lot!

Hi,

I'm also In a similar situation went through an mmc last July and I am now 6 weeks pregnant. I have no symptoms of pregnancy yet no nausea, breast tenderness or anything last year I had symptoms from as soon as I got the bro. Just hoping for a symptom soon! Also unsure whether to book in for an early scan or just wait until 12 weeks. Wish I could just enjoy the experience without all the anxiety

Sending you all lots of luck and positive thoughts in your pregnancies x

@Jl2020
Similar story to mine, so sorry for ur loss. I thought I wouldn't fall again so was so happy to see the 2 lines.
I was considering an early scan for reassurance but all it done was give me anxiety last year. And then when I had my 12 week things had changed. What will be will be. Wish you all the best xx

@STCMB so sorry for your previous loss too.
Last year I went for a dating scan at 10 weeks and the baby had stopped developing at 8 weeks so I feel the same that even if I go for an early reassurance scan anything could happen after that and in a way I think it would be worse if it happened after already seeing a heartbeat.

I guess we can't change any outcome all we can do is hope for the best and we will get our rainbow babies :) x
