Empty Gestational sac

Hi, i had an early scan yesterday which showed an empty sac which was small. According to midwife i am 9+4 according to lmp. But according to ovulation i am 8 weeks today. They are saying to wait 10-14days to see if there are any developments. Today I have had slight pink spotting not enough for a pad or to even show on a panty liner. I am preparing for the worst just so im not disappointed next week for the rescan. But just wondering if anyone has had anything similar that didn't end in miscarriage?

I'm sorry @Dizzttc. It sounds from what you say that it's very likely to be a mmc. Im so sorry this has happened to you - I know how hideously horrible and heartbreaking it is. Praying for a miracle for you.

@treesall thank you. Im really disappointed trying to stay hopeful but I know more than likely its bad news. Just trying to cling on to the very little hope I have left

I'm so sorry @Dizzttc, it's heartbreaking when you are told there is a sac and no baby.

I'm currently going through a natural management of the same thing. I kept hoping there would be something there but alas it wasn't to be. They should scan you twice to make sure there is no chance of a viable pregnancy before talking through options.
