Wanted to start a thread, albeit a little early... But want to chat to people in the same boat.
BFP 12dpo 2 days before AF due. Last period was 4th Feb which I think makes me 3+3, and due date about 10th November! First baby. Anyone else got their BFP? I know it's early days and anything can happen (I know that all too well) but not going to let that take away my excitement. Baby very much wanted after 2 years since mc.

@Helenj1977 I haven't told my fiance yet either. We're in Northern Ireland and his work is based in Scotland, so he's over there this week. Waiting until he's home, hoping the wee baby grows I ordered to surprise him arrive in time haha

I got several positive tests and the second line is really dark and I am just about 4w. I can't quite believe it yet, but based on the NHS calculator it looks like I will be due on the 8 November :)

I did a self-referral for antenatal care and I am checking my email constantly to check for their response.

Do you know when it is the earliest to do a private scan and the different tests?

@Helenj1977 thank you! So I start my new job next week meaning I won't qualify for SMP. I did the gov calculator and it says I will qualify for 39 weeks maternity allowance. However I'm just wondering whether it'll be the £151 per week or £27 per week as it didn't say! My partner is self employed.. don't know if that makes any difference! X

@Helenj1977 I'm planning to have them in the kitchen along with a personalised scratch card and see how long it will take for him to see and ask about it haha

Could I tentatively join please? I should be 4+6 today, but I’m anxious about how faint my tests are. This is from this afternoon. FMU doesn’t exist for me as my other two are up all hours

@ker89 Doesn't it tell you how much? That’s annoying. Can you phone the Job Centre to ask? I think a lot is based on the tax your partner has paid which makes it complicated.

Hopefully it will be the higher amount 🤞🏻

@Enwi I've googled this frantically over the past couple of days as I had similar faint lines, and come to the conclusion of - it's a positive result, and the darkness of the lines don't necessarily mean anything x

are they getting any darker @Enwi? Could you have ovulated a bit late?

Is anyone else getting cramps? I've suddenly got quite strong lower back and tummy ache, just like period pain. I do remember having this before but I remember it being very mild. Not sure if this is just early pregnancy aches or possibly the start of something going wrong.

@Enwi the darkness of lines doesn't really matter, any line is positive.

Mine was a very similar looking line (boots own) and the Clearblue with weeks indicator said 1-2 weeks. Test again in a few days, they tend to get darker as the days pass.

@treesall I've been having some cramps tonight and lower back aches but it was just from having felt a bit constipated all day, feeling much better after the bathroom

Hello! Got my BFP today 🎉 well iv been getting faint lines for a little over a week, but a test from another brand finally convinced me. Its real! They got progressively darker, so I feeling pretty good! Can I join the thread? According to NHS, I'm bang on 4 weeks today. 😁 Congrats to everyone! ❤️

@TalulaBella He definitely will be, we've been trying for about a year but he was away for most of that time for work (submariner) and had a very early miscarriage in August just as he was heading out again. He was finally able to come home a month ago allowing us to try again 😊

Can I join ? I am 6 weeks today. Technically due 31st October but this is my first so will likely go late. Only symptoms are feeling tired, sore boobs and the last couple of days I have had some heartburn and waves of nausea (they don't last very long though) . Feels like the longest wait ever. I have my booking in at 9 .5 weeks and scan at 12.5 weeks. Hopefully all goes smoothly until then x

@DizSquiz yes totally the same here, can’t keep my eyes open at 9pm at night but waking 3 times in the night and quite hot, then exhausted in the morning!

Hi everyone. I think I have pregnancy rage, I have been awful today and yesterday to anyone in range 😩

How do you book your booking in appointment? Do I need to see my Gp first? I can’t remember.

I got a bfp again today in a clear blue digital. I was waiting for the week bit to show and then realised it wasn’t that type 😂

I can't sleep either so tired and moody by end of day then waking up tossing turning legs aching feeling hot and can't settle. My moods are swinging all over the place it's horrible and have a light head ache type feeling x

I don't have many symptoms
I do remember with my son they didn't start till 6 weeks
I'm a bit tired but that could be progesterone

My boobs are tender sometimes but not at moment

It's horrible isn't it. I kept feeling the need to nap yesterday afternoon so must be tired yet cannot manage my usual 7 hours straight sleep. Woke up so hot in the night also
