Hi,
My baby is just over two weeks old and is really good at sleeping through the day but the health visitor thinks he has colic as night time is a bit of a nightmare. He cries for hours and when i eventually do get him to sleep...the minute i put him im the next to me he wakens up. Do any of you have any ideas on what i can do to help? Someone recommended a sleep pod...but i know they are not recommended for overnight sleep...like cocoonababy or sleepyhead or purflow. Have you any advice for a ftm?

Definitely recommend a sleepyhead or a baby nest if as sleepyhead are so expensive. My son would not sleep unless swaddled and in his.

Co sleeping saved my sanity with a baby who would cry as soon as I put them In The next to me. There’s the ‘safe sleep 7’ that shows you how to do it safely but it’s definitely not for everyone

Co sleeping is far safer than the sleep pod / positioners providing you do it right. I had to do it with my DS for the first 3 months until he got better at sleeping in the next to me x
