Diarrhoea before labour?

Hi all,
I'm nearly 37 weeks and I've woke up with diarrhoea and thrown up twice. Also have a sore stomach and generally just not feeling myself. Me and my husband have ate same things over weekend so not concerned of it being food poisoning. Did anyone go through similar things before labour or is it likely I have a stomach bug?
Thanks

This was normal for me, and happened a few hours before I started getting contractions. I didn't go into full labour until the next day. Hope you're ok @Helenknowsbest ?

My pal was the same. It was like the body clearing out prior to concentrating on the next job in hand. Labour.

Good luck OP!

I threw up again this afternoon again but just don't really feel great. I'll let you both know if I happen to go into labour or anything. I've been getting weird back aches, stomach aches etc but nothing major as of yet.

The morning I went into labour I woke up feeling like I was coming down with something.

Try and get as much rest as you can @Helenknowsbest. Hope you feel better very soon

Very soft stool but I personally would be worried about those symptoms. Did you call the midwife?

Helenknowsbest · 01/03/2021 20:22

@grey12 I haven't spoken to her but will call tomorrow if no improvement. I remember feeling this way and throwing up more at the end of my pregnancy with my son.

I had this for 24-48h before each of my 3 labours. Good luck!
