Newborn Head measurements??

Hi all!

I am a first time mum to be and have had my results back from a recent growth scan at 35 weeks. I’m worried about the babies head size as it’s already measuring apparently 33 cm!?

What were your babies head sizes anyone? I’ve read boys tend to be bigger than girls.

Then I can hopefully stop panicking about the birth which I’m already terrified about x

38cm. He still has a large head!

I always remember our 3rd's as she had the biggest head of all ours, 37.7cm. Her birth was the quickest and easiest natural delivery but I did tear quite badly. The rest all have above average heads too.

I have no idea what my babies measurements are for each part as I don't pay attention but when my last baby was born, her head was 38cm!

So 33 doesn't sound large at all.
It doesn't grow massively between now and birth and the average is 35/36cm I believe

Yes I have seen online the average is apparently 35/36 cm too, so I’ve been trying to find out how much it could potentially grow in the next 4 weeks!

The chart percentiles really do make you overanalyse every detail! X
