Positive and then a negative test

I did a pregnancy test with a small amount of wee and came with a clear positive. And then a few hours later I did it again when i was bursting to go and it came back negative with a larger amount of wee. I did the first strip test in my flow and second in cup and i am not sure what to believe. Quite confused. Any help or suggestions please. Am a confused woman

I suspect the first wee was more concentrated. All you can do is try another test. Try and use morning urine. I'd catch it in a cup or container.

Thank you for getting back to me. I've never had that happen before so that's why I thought I would throw it out there and ask. I will, will have to do it tomorrow now. Let's see how it goes.

As PP said. First pee was more concentrated. Which is why they always say use first morning urine.

I'd say yes you are. A false negative is common, a false positive is very rare.

I am going to do the test tomorrow and then see what it says and turn may call doctors and go from there. It's very confusing. Thank you for getting back to me

I am stuck well more confused tbh. As previously said I did 2 test one came back positive other one back negative. I called doctors last week and they said wait a week do it again. I have and I have had 4 positives and 2 negatives. What is going on? Any help suggestions anything right now would be good please. X

If you've had positives then you're pregnant. Getting negatives can mean anything. But 4 positives, you're definitely pregnant. You need to stop testing.

Many things can make it negative.

Not sure why you're doing so many tests when you've had so many positive results already

What brand rests are you using? I used cheapie ovulation strips and half of them didn't work. Could be something similar pending brand? Some brands are more sensitive than others. Agree using morning wee.

The reason I did so many was when I was pregnant with my son I got told by hospital I wasnt pregnant after doing a test there they stated I had miscarried as it came negative and 2 weeks after I had a scan due to other reasons and found out I was still pregnant 8 weeks pregnant in fact. I think its just a paranoia thing because of what I dealt with 7 years ago.

Unless you have bleeding, the test won't go negative. Even with a missed miscarriage it will still show up positive. I have had 2 miscarriages and both took 6 weeks after the bleeding to go negative. Continuously testing won't show you anything
