Morning all,
I'm 33 weeks pregnant and for the last week or so have had really dull 'period' like pains right across my bump, feel generally very run down and pretty faint and weird most mornings. I've had a fairly normal pregnancy and felt fantastic for the last few months - but since I hit 32 weeks I've just not felt quite right. I'm incredibly hormonal also and cry at the drop of a hat! Baby is breech and head is right under my ribcage which can be uncomfortable, particularly as he/she is very active but I just don't feel myself at all and wondered is this normal? I don't want to bother the midwives is this is general third trimester fatigue...roll on 40 weeks!

thanks
RS

Might be a good idea just to see your midwives. You might just be a bit run down. In my first pregnancy I felt fantastic the entire way through but I am 25 weeks now and have felt very run down, tired and tearful all the time this time round, so I guess they are all different. Not that that helps you much but its probably just fatigue.

Hi Rubyshoes, I know exactly how you feel! I'm just 32 weeks and have sailed my way through the past 10 weeks or so feeling great, but I've recently started feeling horrid. My baby is also breech and I know what you mean - it can feel really uncomfortable sometimes - I can feel this hard lump between my ribs pushing forwards and I just can't get comfortable (not that I'm complaining because despite the discomfort I'd rather feel the baby move than not!) I've also started feeling sick again, which I've been told could be morning sickness and feel headachy and tired all the time. I saw the doctor this morning who checked my blood pressure but didn't really suggest what could be the cause. Just hope I don't feel like this for the rest of the pregnancy as it's making me miserable. Hope you feel better soon, Tina

So glad to hear I'm not alone! I have a midwife appt this thursday so will definately bring it up. Beller, totally know what you mean about squirming arms and legs -I feel exactly the same sensation! Tina - also a relief to know there are other 33 weekers out there feeling rubbish like me. I was miserable all weekend and my poor husband just does not know what to do with me.

Not long to go though and soon we'll all be moaning about sleepless nights!

RS xx

rubyshoos, I am 34 weeks and could have written your original post! At my last MW appointment they took blood, because she says iron levels can drop dramatically at this point, so it might be worth getting that checked?
She also said the dull periody pains were nothing to worry about.

It is rubbish though eh?!! I am now fed up, impatient, want my maternity leave and time to lie on the sofa!
