Can anybody relate?

On wednesday i woke up with a stabbing like pain in the right side sort of where your kidney would be, i went to the loo (sorry tmi) for a bowel movement and the pain went away, had my 20 week scan on thursday and the pain came back just as i was going in and it made the whole process really uncomfortable as it was sore in areas of my abdomen, i called the drs when i got home and the dr didnt think it was anything serious to worry about and that it was perhaps down to being maybe constipated combined with pregnancy its not good on your bowels. I have been to the toilet 2/3 times since but the pain just comes and goes its not constant. Has anybody ever had bother like this or should i just call the drs back on monday

I'm now pregnant with my second and never had that. I would personally call the doctor again or speak to your midwife.

I’m on my forth pregnancy and am having this already. At 13 weeks. It almost feels like a stitch. I’m hoping it’s just everything stretching .

Genuine question OP? Why didn’t you mention it when you were at your scan?

@Analysethat i did and the sonographer said to call the drs, she said nothing was wrong with the baby, i see it as an issue with me, i personally do think its the lack of bowel movements as i also suffer with ibs and dont go to the loo as often as i did before i fell pregnant

I've had stitch-like pains with both pregnancies. I'm currently 18w and had to lie on my back in bed for 20 mins this morning as whenever I lay on either side, I got the corresponding pain in that side. After 20 mins it disappeared.

I've always just put it down to another uncomfortable pregnancy symptom!

@BeesAnkles nightmare isnt it! Its only just recently started and i just wanted to know if anybody had suffered with it before or knew what constipation pain felt like as its not something im suffered with before.
