SPD advice please. 3rd time around, will it be worse?

I suffered with SPD from about 30weeks with No.1 and 16 weeks with No.2. I could barely walk or move with the No.2 even with the belt.

Now I've just found out I'm pregnant again and I'm terrified it will be worse this time.

Did any mums have this and was better third time? I'm desperately hoping for some reasurrance and advice as I am so scared .

brightandshiny - first congratulations on your pregnancy I am in the same situation just found out I am pregnant with no3 had SPD from 15 weeks with both previous pregnancies and as you said I am dreading it this time. I keep thinking about how difficult it will be with 2 toddlers to run after as well

ditto. I have one at 2 year 3months and one at just turned one. This baby is a complete surprise as I was on the pill and our bedroom life was almost none existant!
congratulations on your pregnacy too.

Hi- dont know if it will be worse but I had SPD with ds3 and am pg with baby 4 now, and yes it ahs started earlier- had it a few weeks now and still only 20 weeks tomnorrow.

Thats what I was like with no.2. I had to be refer to the hopsital and I didn't get a belt until 36 weeks. I would try to get the midwife to refer you as soon as possible for a belt if you don't already have one.

Mine was just amde out of tubigrip- might be easier to make one at home tbh!

I found the belt didn't really help that much TBH, I used to have a deep bath every night which eased it a bit and also slept with a pillow between my knees. It's horrible though. Mine are 3.3y and 21 months this one was planned but took me a while to decide to ttc again as am not looking forward to the SPD again.
