Could I be pregnant?

Period was scheduled for 15th Feb. But I was had celebrations so I took period delaying pills starting 10th Feb.

I then went on to have unprotected sex from 11th Feb for almost the entire week to come. This week was supposed to be post-ovulation window based on my scheduled period date of 15th Feb.

Fast forward, I stopped my period delay pills on 17th and I was expecting my period to come in the next 1-3 days but it didn’t. Ended up being a week late before I got my period suddenly, with no usual symptoms that I get every cycle.

Now third day on my supposed period, but it seems like my period is already stopping. This is unusual for me because my period for years, has been at least 5-7 days long. I’m barely bleeding on my pads, and only see light red blood when I wipe.

I also went to re-check my ovulation dates and now it turns out because my period came a week late, 11th Feb and 12th Feb both days were my fertile period.

Could I be pregnant? I took a test but it came out negative I’m not sure if it’s just too early or what. And should I retest? If yes, when?

What pills?
If norethisterone then yes, you could be pregnant if you had unprotected sex.

Hmm

No. It’s not possible to get pregnant from having unprotected sex during your fertile period.

Period delaying pills like norethisterone can mess with your cycle, so I wouldn't panic yet. Take another test in a few days.

Yes, I took norethisterone

They will mess with your cycle. Obviously if you've had unprotected sex, there's always a chance. But sounds more like its because you took the pills.

It is of course possible but to be honest it sounds as if it's more likely the pills affecting your period, they can make it shorter/lighter so I'd try not to worry too much.

Take a test 2 weeks after the last day you had sex that week, if you're pregnant it should hopefully show then

If you delay your period by taking period delay medication, you will not be protected against pregnancy. If you have unprotected sex whilst taking norethisterone, you could become pregnant
