Hi

I am currently 13dpo and last month I had a chemical.. worried that it could be happening again.. the progression doesn't seem to be great and line aren't getting much darker between 11dpo and 13dpo... anyone else find anything similar? Top pic is progression from 10dpo (am and pm) then 11dpo, took 2 days break and tested at 13dpo... really thought qfter 2 days the line would be darker

It looks fine and as it should. Congratulations

Those lines look perfect to me. I understand your fears (I've had chemicals, they're the cruellest things) but I think you should be cautiously optimistic.

Also remember that tests are a 'yes' or 'no' - they're not designed to show 'how' pregnant you are; line strength will vary between batches etc. so it's not a reliable indicator of a continuing pregnancy.

Have you considered booking a private early scan? It might put your mind at rest. If you book it for 6-7 weeks you might be able to see a heartbeat, which is a great sign.

Congratulations and good luck Thanks

I never got a properly dark line on a FRER ,

I did get a clear line progression with the cheap strip tests, I'm 21 weeks now.

Twizbe · 26/02/2021 07:38

Try not to worry.

As pp said a pregnancy test just tells you if you are pregnant or not. It doesn't tell you how pregnant you are.

Congratulations you're pregnant :) try to step away from the tests for a few days

PurBal · 26/02/2021 07:53

You're definitely pregnant. Congratulations. I agree with PP that pregnancy tests give yes or no results.

@RedPandaFluff I am under a fertility consultant due to previous miscarriages but have had a baby since then so heading back to him and will go for a 6 week scan as the last time...

@Lbyrne121 I'm sorry for your previous losses. I have had a chemical and two early losses and I totally understand the paranoia and fear and obsession over line progression. I dread to think how much money I've spent on tests in the last year!

I would say that line progression looks perfect. Try and relax (I know, I know, absolutely impossible!)

Rosieposy89 · 26/02/2021 11:25

Looks fine to me. Maybe stop testing as it's creating more anxiety for you. Good luck x

Lbyrne121 · 01/03/2021 08:14

Me back again.. step away from the test for two days all I could do... lines don't seem to be getting any darker, even the one qt 16dpo looks lighter

@Lbyrne121 those tests look perfectly normal, they're lovely and dark and a confirmation that you are pregnant.

I'm sorry for your previous losses, would it be worth speaking to someone about your anxiety around this? I don't think it's good to get fixated on lines - as a PP already said, the tests are to confirm that you are pregnant, not how pregnant.

Wishing you a healthy pregnancy Thanks

Hello @Lbyrne121,

I hope you’re well. How did this pregnancy go? Any update. I’m on a similar boat 💕

Lbyrne121 · 04/09/2021 11:43

Hi unfortunately this ended in a mmc.. I got my hcg done after these tests and they were 700 and then continued to double, then went for scan at 6 weeks was measuring behind 3 days and heartbeat went for scan at 8 weeks hearbeat gone.. I am pregnant again currently 8 weeks and tests were the same as before went for a scan all looking good so far although measuring a day behind... I have had 4 mmc in total so I will never relax until the 12 week mark... wishing you all the best with your pregnancy...

Hi sorry this is a late post but with your successful pregnancy were your lines similar? Mine look like yours and I’m worried
