I'm about 8 weeks pregnant now and just stopped feeling broody, like it's getting me down a bit. Anyone else feel like this?

Same. Think the horrible symptoms have taken away all the excitement unfortunately. Hope it comes back.

I never felt broody. It’s unnecessary once you are pregnant tbh Grin

LunaLula83 · 05/04/2021 22:42

All normal 😁

Ninonk · 05/04/2021 22:45

The function of broodiness is to get you pregnant! I would consider anyone who felt broody at 8 weeks pregnant slightly mad Grin

For me, the sickness, tiredness and just general crap feeling took over and at 8 weeks I thought I had forever to go till I had the baby in my arms. 25 weeks now and it's completely different. It's just a bit miserable at the beginning isn't it.

Oh and congratulations.

I've never felt broody once in my life, that feeling just never figured in my composition, and extra-definitely not while pregnant - dedicated happy mum of two right here. 😆

Haha very normal! You feel like shit at 8 weeks, and tired and overwhelmed - asking yourself what you've got yourself into!

You'll get excited, it'll change.

I'm 35+ weeks and that brooding stage has loooong since been replaced by being fed up, heavy, uncomfortable and grumpy. :P
