Sounds like a stupid question sorry guys but when you're a first time mum to be everything worries you right?! Lol

I'm 22 weeks pregnant, earlier today just after 12pm I started getting a headache, drank more etc and ate. Still no better. I've had on and off chills this evening and my legs are aching and I now have an EVEN WORSE headache it's killing me? I'm trying to sip water... but any advice? Should I be worried?

Could be covid? I’ve just had it (also 20 weeks pregnant) and similar symptoms especially the headache.
I’d get a test. Try not to panic though. I was worried but really was fine with covid. Took paracetamol a few times. I have felt more ill with bad colds etc it was unpleasant but not awful and felt better within a few days.

@PullingAtTeeth oh wow really? I haven't been out so I'd be confused if it was! I will definitely get a test then. What symptoms did you have? I feel so awful it's getting unbearable!

I was going to say exact the same thing as the PP - chills and a headache and a sore throat were my first symptoms of covid. In my case I knew what it was as my DH had recent tested positive but definitely get a test. I caught it at 10 weeks pregnant - I'm asthmatic age was really unwell for about 4 weeks but got through it and have definitely felt worse with the flu.

Have you taken paracetamol

Phone your midwife- isn’t a headache that won’t shift with painkillers a symptom of pre-eclampsia?

Call the midwife and also have a Covid test xxx
