Painting during pregnancy

Hey,

I'm 22 weeks pregnant and wondered what everyone's thoughts / experiences were with painting whilst pregnant?

I'm looking to paint some internal doors, and as the weather is now breaking refresh all the fence.

Is this safe?

In the nicest possible way...why wouldn't it be? You won't be using lead paint will you ? I decorated nursery and hall way ( and actually lots of other rooms) whilst pregnant. Earlier and later.
The only thing someone told
Me was not to reach up too far as the cord could get tangled... we didn't have any such complications.

I'm sure there was a thread on here last year and people were advising against it because of breathing in harmful substance, I wasn't sure if it was advised or not but sounds like it should be OK and I can get my paint on. Thank you :)

It’s absolutely fine, just don’t over do it and send someone else up the steps to edge the ceiling! If you’re worried about the fumes, you can open windows to ventilate.
