28 Week Appointment?

Hi guys! I’ve got my 28 week appointment tomorrow and am curious what happened at yours? I’ve never actually met my midwife & have had barely any contact with anyone throughout this whole pregnancy which has made me kinda anxious as it’s my first baby. I’ve had my 12 week scan, 20 week scan and 25 week appointment but due to covid, they’re pretty much in and out! My appointment isn’t at the hospital, it’s a clinic but I’m curious what they’ll be doing?

It should have a list in your notes what to expect at each appointment (at least my notes had that!) - but my 28 week was blood test for anaemia, urine test for gestational diabetes, blood pressure check and measuring my bump to determine baby's growth

Hi based on that they should go over your notes and booking bloods/scans and make sure nothing has been missed by them not seeing you. Discuss fetal movements etc and how to escalate if concerned. Remind you about whooping cough vaccine. Take 28/40 bloods (but each trust does this at different times) to recheck iron & platelets and repeat group and save. Antenatal check wise they will do a Urine dip, blood pressure, palpate your uterus/baby and listen in to fetal heart. Hope it goes well.

And sorry plot baby's growth on fundal height chart

28 weeks is usually blood tests with the general checks like fetal doppler, fundal height, urine dip test and blood pressure.

I have my anti-D injection at this gestation too, Rh negative.
