Bleeding at 8 weeks and 3 days

Hi, I have suffered 4 miscarriages quite early in my pregnancy this is the furthest I have gotten... I starting spotting today.. I wasnt too concerned as have been spotting throughout and my scans have been fine saw a heartbeat for the first time. I have just seen red blood and unfortunately quite a lot of it, worried and confused and not sure what to do..I have got in to bed and trying to relax as much as possible. Scared I don't think I can handle this again 😥

Red blood is never a good sign. My last mc happened at 9+3wk after a heartbeat was confirmed on a scan at 8+3wk. Risks do lower after a heartbeat is confirmed but there is still a risk at any stage unfortunately. Fingers crossed for you.

As the pp said, I’d contact your EPU as soon as you can.

The fact it’s red blood would concern me. Hopefully a scan will show it’s nothing to worry about, and plenty of women have unexplained bleeding in pregnancy, but you definitely need to get checked.

Thank you ladies, I have been referred to EPU and spoken to the Dr.. she said it could possibly be an implementation bleed as it can happen around this time and plus it seems to have stopped for the moment. Keeping and eye on it and resting up and really hoping for the best 🙏🏽 thank you for your support it means a lot xx

I did question that too... I should have been clearer.. placental implantation bleeding. I am googling private scans too as EPU waiting times are rather long
