Hi everyone - first-time mum here. All been going pretty well but mild hip and lower back pain (plus bump dance parties) have started waking me up from 4.30 am, or last night it was 1.30am to 3.30am. I'm still working full time so it is TOUGH. Trying to research tips and change my mindset on it, but any shared experiences very welcomed!

Hi, I have been having the same sleep issues.
Recently I have been doing some gentle yoga stretches before bed which have begun to help after doing them a few times.
Have you been using pillows for support?
Also if I wake in the night I have been using visualisation as a way to relax, it takes practice but personally I find it helpful x

Yes I have a bella+moon body pillow - try to lie on my left with this in front of me and then a normal pillow supporting my back/stopping me from rolling over. I also sleep on top of a Kally Sleep wedge to help with reflux. That sounds good to try pre-bed yoga - have been doing a class Saturday mornings which is lovely. Would love to know which visualisation you use!

Sounds comfy!
Personally I tend to imagine a place e.g beach or spa and walk myself through it taking in all the details, it usually sends me off as my mind isn't wondering onto other things.
But you could use an app or something if you would prefer that! Hope you find something that works x
