Nausea and sense of smell help!

When does it stop???

I’m 12+2 and I’m throwing up daily and can’t stand the smell of anything strong. My poor dogs make me heave and I feel so bad I can’t be near them as much 😭 I have to constantly cover my nose when I’m cuddling them 😂

Tell me it gets better?

I'm 17 weeks and it definitely gets better!

I was heaving at the smell of anything strong such as onions and dog food 🙈 and feeding them first thing made me feel absolutely rotten!

I still am a bit funny with smells but it is much better.

It's awful isn't it! It's the smell of food or cooking that I can't stand. With my first it cleared pretty suddenly at 14weeks, this time I'm 11 weeks and feeling loads better the last few days so think I have got lucky this time round - or it will come back tomorrow and I'll be eating my words!

It does get better OP, weeks 5 -15 my poor partner couldn’t cook anything from the oven cause the smell made me heave so badly.
I’m 30 weeks now and currently in the kitchen cooking my dinner, so I’m proof it does it get better!

Hang in there

I had this exact same problem! Mine was so bad that even looking at a photograph of a dog would cause me to feel nauseous! I felt terrible having to shoo my little man away from me all of the time.
I’m pleased to say that I am now 16+3 and all sickness/nausea issues seem to have disappeared. Normal furry cuddles have resumed 🥰
Hope you’re feeling back to normal again soon!

I'm with you OP. So sorry you're feeling like this.
My nausea and sense of smell are making me feel miserable. Currently 15 weeks with baby number 2 and I was the exact same with my first. It's horrible. Constantly vomiting.

My trigger is most cooking foods like garlic , onions, fish , greasy foods etc and the smell of detergent as in laundry soap, washing up liquid etc.
Our clothes stink of fabric softener and it makes me heave so much I wear a mask sometimes 😞
Been on the search for a neutral smelling laundry detergent but no luck.

I also can't even watch cooking shows on tv now as I imagine the strong smell coming off them. This is just ridiculous that pregnancy will do this to you but just counting the weeks down now.

It does get better as weeks go by or we adapt and learn to live with it is what I like to think...
Good luck OP x
