Hi FTM here, I recent gave birth in December and I am now 2 months pp

I had a normal birth and my bleeding stopped within a week or two

Formula feeding and I am using condoms but we had a few times where we didn't put one on and he didn't cum but was close to..
so I had usual period cramping at around the right time I should've expect my period but I had light pink discharge and only light bleeding for around two days and it was brown/pink

I had bad back pain when I found out I was pregnant the first time and I have lower back pain again

I feel so tired but I'm putting that down to looking after a bubba

I don't think it's possible that I have got pregnant through pre-ejaculate but wondering if it is at the same time?

Pre-cum can have sperm in it so yes, it is possible.

Alakasam · 22/02/2021 20:29

And women are hyper-fertile after having a baby, especially if you aren't breastfeeding. I would get a test.

Thatwentbadly · 22/02/2021 20:29

Yes it possible.

Scottishskifun · 22/02/2021 20:30

I suggest you do a pregnancy test depending on when you are due.

For information yes you can get pregnant, the lubricant which the penis emits before cum contains sperm withdrawal method isn't a form of contraception.

CoffeeRunner · 22/02/2021 20:32

Well it’s possible. You need to test to be sure.

Bettina500 · 22/02/2021 20:35

Yes entirely possible, you need to do a test.

2020mumma · 22/02/2021 20:35

Hyper fertile? As in ovulating straight away?

I have been cramping as well

I always believed the chances of getting pregnant from pre-ejaculate are next to none

Thank you for your replies, looks like I will definitely be testing..

Totally possible.

Totally possible. It contains sperm and you only need 1 😂

NHS says you can get pregnant as little as 3 weeks post-partum www.nhs.uk/conditions/baby/support-and-services/sex-and-contraception-after-birth/ . A couple of midwives / health visitors mentioned this to me both before and after little one was born, telling me to make sure I used contraception (not that we were doing anything anyway - way too exhausted for at least the first few months!)

Twelve8Ts · 22/02/2021 21:43

I got pregnant 2 months after giving birth after having sex once! You are super duper fertile.

TolkiensFallow · 22/02/2021 21:48

It’s very possible. I remember them warning us before we left hospital after baby

LizzieBirmingham · 22/02/2021 21:48

This is exactly why the midwives hammer it in to you to sort your contraception before you leave hospital 😬

IndigoJewel · 22/02/2021 21:50

I know someone with babies 10 months apart!

YouAintKingDingALing · 22/02/2021 22:13

I'm shocked that people don't know this. Anyway, I hope you get the test result that you want OP.

FabledFoibles · 23/02/2021 06:59

I show people how to use condoms properly in my job, if someone realises they have put the condom on the wrong way round we always say get a new one and not to flip it over, because pre-cum could get on it which contains sperm.
